Against him are a beautiful patriot named Molly Ross, and Gardner's own son, Noah, who has fallen in love with Molly.
The Overton Window is a concept in political theory, named after the former vice president of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, Joe Overton, who developed the model. Joe Overton died seven years ago in a plane crash. In a foreword, Beck notes that his thriller belongs in a category called " 'faction' - completely fictional books with plots rooted in fact. The story has a climax that resolves to some extent, but obviously Beck has a second book in mind as a follow-up. This volume will entertain, inform and keep you up at night reading and pondering the revelations therein.
